The Spider Queen isn't even a spider. It's part of the races great shame, but the last reigning actual spider Queen was bested in a battle of the wits by a cunning Kookaburra of all things... and then promptly eaten. The Kookaburra found it hilarious to wear her little crown and command the spiders to dance for her, so she took up the throne, and has reigned undefeated ever since. There's often talk of a coup, but dancing spiders can rarely get themselves together long enough to achieve such feats. |
