Oh boy, the elves in the woodlands are such Tolkien nerds. They have a fan club for all things LOTR, but they are super massive diehard fans of Legolas in particular. I think it has something to do with his mum passing through the woodlands before she met Legolas' dad, Thranduil, who is the king of the Woodland Realm of Northern Mirkwood. Our woodland elves like to think they're related somehow to the Silvan Elves or "Wood-elves" of Mirkwood, but honestly, it's a stretch.
Anyhoo, the woodland elves make these cool Elrond Crowns for their cosplay and fan club events... and to wear around the house as well, if they're being honest.*
